Season One follows Naomi, Hannah and Iris through a gentle shift in their friendship. Each episode is a cluster of posts, comments and small memories, unfolding over a day or two. Naomi’s arc is our chosen starting point; Hannah’s and Iris’s are possible later directions.
These are disclosed fictional story plans, not claims about real people. The initial test posts were archived on 29 September. The fresh opening and later episodes are planned, and their details can change. Instagram remains the source for current published posts.

Arc 01 · Naomi and the thing she is not quite saying

A little off balance
Naomi is still warm, funny and ready with the dinner part of the plan, but something has started to sit slightly wrong around the edges. Work is busier than she lets on. A new responsibility has made her quietly unsure of herself, and she has become very good at sounding cheerful before anyone asks too many questions.
How it shows up
She is the one most likely to suggest getting out for a bit, changing the subject with food, or turning a simple plan into an excuse not to be on her own with her thoughts. Nothing dramatic happens. The shift is small: a little more spontaneity, a little more avoidance, a slightly brighter tone than usual.
What it changes
Hannah notices the pattern first and starts trying to make things easier to hold. Iris notices the feeling beneath it and gives Naomi room to say more without forcing it. The story moves from deflection to small honesty, and from light plans to conversations that begin to mean more.

Keeping things sensible
Hannah is usually the steady one, the person who wants a sensible end time and a plan that can survive real life. In this version of the story, that instinct starts to become a little more pronounced. She is trying to keep everything neat, timely and manageable, and the effort is beginning to show.
How it shows up
Plans become slightly more structured. Detours become negotiations. Spontaneity starts to feel less charming when it pushes against the shape of the day she was hoping to keep under control. The tension is quiet, but it changes the rhythm of the group.
What it changes
Naomi becomes the one trying to loosen her up, while Iris notices the difference between being organised and needing everything to stay in place. The story here is not about collapse. It is about whether Hannah can let things be a little untidy without losing herself in the process.

Arc 03 · Iris and the longer route home

Lingering a little longer
Iris is the one most drawn to atmosphere, detail and the interesting way round. In this arc, that instinct becomes the emotional centre of the story. She is not in crisis, but she is in one of those moods where everything feels slightly reflective, slightly unfinished, and worth looking at for longer than usual.
How it shows up
Walks stretch. Plans drift. A simple outing becomes a small ritual of noticing things, delaying decisions and letting the city set the pace. What looks casual from the outside starts to carry a quieter question underneath: what is Iris avoiding by always taking the scenic route?
What it changes
Hannah tries to anchor the moment before it drifts too far. Naomi draws Iris back with warmth, humour and appetite for the present tense. The story becomes softer and more atmospheric, shaped less by obvious tension and more by the feeling of being on the edge of a choice.
A framework, not a fixed script.
Character voices and the direction of the season stay consistent. The precise words, setting and where a small emotional beat lands can vary. A coffee can replace dinner; a reply can carry more than a caption. The aim is useful surprise without losing the thread.
